We offer a varied, healthy menu with daily changes on a three weekly cycle.
School dinners are served in the dining hall and are supervised by our Lunchtime Supervisors. Pupils have a choice of menu:
- Two choices of main course, including a vegetarian meal
- Salad bar
- Pudding / Crackers
- Fresh fruit
- Water/ Milk
Bread is also provided.
We encourage pupils to show good manners and behave well during the meal.
Packed lunches must be placed in one plastic container, with the pupil’s name and class clearly written on it. Although we do all we can to help the children look after them, we cannot be held responsible for any losses.

We are a cashless school and do not accept cash payments at the school. All payments need to be made either online at www.ParentPay.com or at a PayPoint centre.
We will be unable to provide a meal if your child's account is not in credit.
Free School Meals
You are eligible to claim free school meals if you are in receipt of any of the following:
- Income support
- Income based job seekers allowance
- Asylum seekers allowance
- Child tax credit only and have an annual income of less than £16,190 or the guaranteed element of state pension credit
If you would like to apply for free school meals, please call at the school office to collect an application form.
We have a number of Lunchtime Supervisors, whose job is to supervise the pupils at lunchtime, both in the dining hall and in the playground or on the field. The Lunchtime Supervisors work with the pupils to supervise and organise games for them to play. Pupils are expected to treat these people with respect, follow their instructions and report incidents of concern to them.
Pupils who persistently misbehave during the lunch break, will be given sufficient warning before having to spend a period of lunchtimes at home. You would be given at least 48 hours notice of this exclusion.
