We have a clear vision and approach to remote education which is clearly articulated in our Remote Learning Guidelines. We provide all our pupils with a Chromebook, as part of the ELT Connected initiative, and support families with internet connectivity where necessary.
We use Google Classroom for remote learning. Following our tiered approach to remote learning, the pupils are provided with a daily programme of learning, reflecting their usual school timetable. Lessons comprise a combination of live lessons (with their teacher via Google Meet), pre-recorded lessons, activities and tasks to be completed and uploaded via Google Classroom or on our learning platforms such as MyMaths and SeeSaw. We also draw on high quality lessons available from Oak Academy, BBC Bitesize, White Rose and other sources.

Seesaw - Seesaw is a secure online platform that the children regularly use to support and showcase their learning in school.
Pupils have been provided with personalised QR and text codes to access their individual Seesaw accounts where they can upload work and complete activities set by their teacher.
Pupils can access their accounts via the Seesaw app (free to download from the App Store or Google Play) or the desktop version at web.seesaw.me. To access their account, children will need to scan the QR code in the Seesaw app or input the personalised text code. Please ensure that your child does not share their personalised QR or text code with anyone else. Teachers may broadcast activities or information. Teachers can also respond to questions or give pupils additional support if required.
