Absence from school can only be authorised by the Headteacher. Parents are expected to inform the school as soon as possible of the reason for the child’s absence, either by text, telephone, in writing or in person at the school office.
Absence for any reason other than sickness or medical appointments must be authorised by the Headteacher beforehand. If you take your child out of school without previously speaking to the Headteacher, the absence will be recorded as unauthorised.
Parents are requested to contact the school by 9.00am on the first day of child’s unplanned absence
Removing Children from School
